National Institute of Malaria Research (NIMR) Goa Walk in Interview for one post of Scientist ‘B’ (Non-Medical) is to be filled up purely on a temporary and contract basis, co-terminus with the project ‘Malaria Evolution in South Asia (MESA)’. Walk in Interview will be held on 26th June 2014.

Educational Qualifications:
Essential - First Class M.Sc. in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological subjects (Zoology/Entomology/Microbiology/Biotechnology) from a recognized University or equivalent. (OR) Second class Master’s Degree in Life/Biological Sciences or relevant biological discipline subjects with Ph.D. degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
Desirable - Three years of research experience in Molecular Biology/Molecular Entomology/Organizing Mosquito Population Surveys, various mosquito sampling techniques and Mosquito Taxonomy, Basic computer skills, strong analytical ability and data interpretation skills. Candidates with high quality research publications in peer reviewed journals preferably on molecular aspects malaria will be preferred.

Accounts-cum- Data Manager ->

Selection Process: Written Examination (90 marks) & Viva Voce Test (10 marks)
How To Apply: The application form must be accompanied with 2 recent colour passport size photograph; One to be pasted and self attested in the application form & the other to be stapled with the application form.
